Salt Lake City, Utah (March 25, 2011) Recently, Foundation 4Life launched a dollar-for-dollar matching program to raise money for distributors and employees alike who have suffered great loss as a result of the crisis in Japan.
The people of Japan have many critical needs, said Foundation 4Life Director Tracie Kay. As members of the 4Life® family, we encourage everyone to reach out to those in affected areas. To drive this effort, Foundation 4Life has pledged to match 100% of all contributions raised through March 31, 2011.
The effects of the 9.0 earthquake and subsequent tsunami have devastated the entire country. An escalating nuclear crisis, weather, loss of power, sanitation, and lack of food are among the many challenges people continue to face. The human and material damage is immense. To date, the tragic loss of life exceeds 6,900 people with at least 10,700 still missing.
Following the devastating earthquake and tsunami, said Calvin Jolley, 4Life Vice President of Communications, The first thing our executive team set out to do was account for every one of our distributors in the field. As of the time this piece went to press, eight 4Life distributors in affected areas were still missing.
Steve Tew, 4Life President: On behalf of our 4Life Founders David and Bianca Lisonbee, and the entire 4Life family, we express our deepest concern and sympathy for the people of Japan.
